That about sums it up.

I was supposed to audition for the lead singer position for this band today but after listening and trying the songs I decided the vocals were out of my range in the upper register. Also it's not really the kind of music I want to make. The musicians in that band are really talented. You should check them out.

I've been patiently waiting for my MU-15 to arrive. It should be here tomorrow. Yes I charged it to my Discover card.

Work still blows. The commute is slowly sucking what little will to live I have left. I paid $2.09/gal to fill up my tank this morning. I did finally jump through the right hoops in the correct order to get my company-provided bus pass.

Right now I'm pouting because it's Friday night and I have neither local friends nor money. I do have the makin's for manhattans and doobies, though. Always look on the bright side of life.

Progress remains slow with my Morninwood Cemetery project. I am having trouble getting the software to do what I want. All I want to do is play a melody on my keyboard and record the MIDI data with my sequencer and then play it back. Every time I run into stupid little problems like this I want to give up and get a windows box. Or a Mac. Then I remember that I don't have any money. I could start pirating again but it's really less trouble to just buy the shit. I wish I had somebody around that knew more about Rosegarden than I.
