Bleh! Remember how I said I would be diverting all of my energy into finding a new job? Well, ever since I said that I haven't had any energy at all.

My coworkers are all pissed at me. I went out on Thurs. at the Mercury and somehow managed to lose the data phone. We used the phone while we were on-call so we could go out and still fulfil our duties. Now we no longer have a data phone because of my dumbfuckery.

I got hella sick on Friday. No energy. I could sleep for days. I woke up Saturday with the tingling beginning of a cold sore. By Sunday, it was 7 cold sores; all on my upper lip. I look like the elephant man. I usually get cold sores when I've exceeded my stress threshold. That I got 7 at once should tell you how much stress I've been under lately.

I finished reading "Votescam: The Stealing of America." Scary ass shit. I'll sum it up for you. If you bother voting you're wasting your time. Your vote is never seen. Your vote is never counted. The candidate with the most money and/or connections is going to be the winner. There is not a single organization that will investigate. There is not a single TV station or newspaper that will report. Democracy was sold out right after JFK was shot. The only thing that can save democracy would be if a large percentage of Americans turned off their TV, read this book, and banded together for a revolution. The time is ripe.

The scariest thing is that I couldn't find a library that offerred this book for checkout. Amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com both claim the book is out of stock at the publisher. According to the votescam website the book is in stock and selling well. Nobody wants to sell it because it names too many names. If I were to ever win the lottery, I'd buy as many of these books as possible and hand them out at the polls.
